Sitemap - The sturcture of your site

A site map (or sitemap) is a list of pages of a web site accessible to crawlers or users. It can be either a document in any form used as a planning tool for Web design, or a Web page that lists the pages on a Web site, typically organized in hierarchical fashion. There two popular versions of a site map. An XML Sitemap is a structured format that a user doesn't need to see, but it tells the search engine about the pages in your site, their relative importance to each other, and how often they are updated.

* Site map has many benefit, not only sharing navigation and better visibility by search engines.

* It Provides to search engine immediately about any changes on your site.

* These instantly changes will be indexed faster than without using site map.

Creating and using Yahoo! XML Sitemap files

Generating sitemap files for Yahoo! is easy with the GSiteCrawler.

In order to submit your sitemap file to Yahoo!, you'll need to do the following:
Go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com
In the box for "My Sites", enter your site's main URL and click on "Add my site".
