Google has confirmed rumors of a Google update announcing on Twitter that they pushed out a Panda data refresh today impacting about 1.3% of English queries.
This would make for the 23rd Panda update since the first Panda algorithm was introduced on February 24, 2011. Since then we had 22 updates both to the algorithm and also to the index or data refreshes.
The latest impacted 1.3% of the queries, whereas version 22 impacted only 0.8% of English queries.

It is very important for SEO masters to understand that How Google treats page titles. When displaying search results, search engines have always truncated long titles so that each result is a consistent size. Traditionally this limit has been a set number of characters (in between 55-65).
But Google measures the pixels of a page title. There is a pixel limit in each page title tag. I find out that the maximum width of a page title is between 466 and 496 pixels.

We can easily understand it by an example as: A character limit is simple, but far from ideal: with letters we can understand that an upper case W being significantly wider than letters such as a lower case i, titles with the same number of characters can have very different visual widths. As a result Google has introduced a more sophisticated approach.
